About Bindal

Bindal Desai never learned how to be anyone other than herself. Spirited, restless, and quietly rebellious since childhood, she trusted her own instincts over the comfort of a well-worn path. Her journey has moved through self-doubt, heartbreak, and uncertainty, and out of it she has built something honest: a body of work shaped by real experience, by failure that taught her something and joy that reminded her why she began. Somewhere in that process, art stopped being a private refuge and became her voice.

Today, that voice speaks for itself. Bindal runs her own art gallery in Pune, where her work lives out in the open for anyone to see. In the past year, her paintings have travelled from Mumbai and Jaipur to Dubai, Osaka, Japan & Paris, with exhibitions at the Mumbai Art Fair, Maharashtra Art Fair, Indian Art Festival, Kalaa Spandan, and Kala Connect. Her work earned a Silver Award at Manikarnika Art Gallery's National Mandala Art Exhibition, was selected for Sagar's Art Stream at Dubai's Picasso Gallery, featured among the winners of Mazda 100, and saw two exclusive works displayed at Alankar Gallery, Jawahar Kala Kendra, Jaipur. She has also exhibited with Arrival Gallery in Osaka. What began as a personal act of survival has quietly become a career.

For Bindal, none of it was ever really about accolades. Her art holds contrast, pain, and beauty in the same frame, proof, again and again, that the most honest path is the one you carve yourself.
